Nina
I am Nina, the proud owner of Spa Paw & Tail. This resort has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. To wake up each day and be able to come here for work is the most unbelievable experience. When I began planning my pet resort many years ago I made a check list of items that I didn't like in the existing facilities and items that I would implement to make those services better. Every detail that went into the planning of Spa Paw & Tail came straight from a pet lover's heart. We operate this resort as if every pet could go home and tell Mom, Dad, Sister and Brother how their day or week was. I strive on the positive feedback that I get on a daily basis from our pet parents. I have a very supportive family and they understand the hard work that goes into running a business such as this. I have been married for 7 years and have a 6 year old daughter, 3 dogs and 1 cat. I have had pets my entire life and worked along side them in many different ways. I have had many volunteer positions at shelters and rescues, managed a kennel for a veterinarian and worked at various pet resorts. Each of these positions helped to pave the way of opening my dream-Spa Paw & Tail.

Mindy
My name is Mindy. I am a certified horse trainer, graduate of the Minnesota Horse Training Academy. Animals are my lifelong passion. My hobby is animal nutrition and behavior. I own 4 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and several sugar gliders. I plan to one day open a dog day care and boarding facility of my own. I have worked at other day care and boarding facilities and I can officially say that Spa Paw & Tail is the best facility around for your pets!
Katie Leigh
Greetings Spa Paw pets and parents! My name is Katie, and I am a life-long southeastern Wisconsin resident and, I must admit, dog-crazy. While I graduated from Marquette University in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Minor in History, my passion is animals. From the time I took my first breaths, I was surrounded by canine "sisters." My family has had two English Springer Spaniels running, wagging and fetching throughout our home ever since! (Sometimes destroying, too!) From the rambunctious and often mischievous puppy stages, to the not-so-glamorous and heart-wrenching senior days, I can confidently say I've grown up and have been a participating caregiver through it all. These real-life learning experiences have helped me develop extreme love, compassion, and empathy for the family pet as well as their owners. I love sharing in the joy of pet parents when their animal reaches a milestone, as I often reminisce about my own experiences. While I don't have a pet of my own due to apartment living, I firmly uphold my family's promise to allow me "joint custody" of our two Springers, Maddie and Abbey (pictured), one of the reasons I stick close to home! I don't know what I would do without animals in my life, which is why I take such pride and joy in my job at Spa Paw and Tail!
Amanda
I have always been around animals and have had a passion for dogs in particular. After adopting a Border Collie, I became involved in many activities with her such as obedience, agility, flyball, herding, and trick training. I love being around dogs every day and enjoy spending my life with them. I will be going to UWM and plan to major in Entrepreneurship. My goal is to someday open a dog training facility.
Kim
My name is Kim, and I am head over heels in love with dogs! I believe they are one of God's favorite creations...(God-dog) and I am so thankful HE has blessed me with the opportunity to work with so many of them.
I have been raised in Wisconsin, and around animals of all sorts since I could walk. My passion for dogs is no secret to anyone who knows me. My hobby is photography, and most of the thousands of pictures I have are of dogs, with my kids coming in a close second.
My heart broke in 2010, when I lost my Golden Retriever, Dakota. It still hasn't mended, but being around all your furry children, help ease that pain. As soon as I can, I plan on getting another, but for now my rescue, Miles is a true protector, and keeps me busy.
If circumstances allowed, I would own 10 acres and Foster as many dogs as I could. If I am watching your dog....you can be assured he feels loved!
Bobbi
Bobbi has loved animals since she was a young girl. While attending University for Sociology and Interpreting for the Deaf, she began working as an accredited dog trainer. The training position created the opportunity for her to attend an academy for Pet Styling. This is where Bobbi found her dream, as a Professional Groomer. She is involved in the dog community as she attends many events, volunteers for a local shelter and continuously continues her education.
Bobbi has several dogs of her own, both Italian Greyhounds and Whippets. There is a great chance that you will meet one or two of these hounds when you are here for services. A few of Bobbi’s dogs race professionally. Her and her dogs also participate in recreational agility and lure coursing. In Bobbi’s free time she enjoys spending time with her amazing husband and daughter as well as hiking her dogs and swimming.
Steve
Steve has been with Spa Paw & Tail since the doors opened. He is a very dedicated and loving team member. Steve is certainly tough enough to handle the largest Mastiff but soft enough to carry the smallest Maltese. You can just see the delight in the pets when Steve walks into the room.
Corrine
My name is Corinne and I was born and raised in Wisconsin. While growing up, I was a proud parent of a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a Weimaraner. I have volunteered with the Elm Brook and Dane County Humane Societies and currently volunteer for the Urban Ecology Center. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to work at the Milwaukee County Zoo in the "Wings from Down Under" exhibit, which was great since I am partially Australian. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Biological Aspects of Conservation, I spent two years teaching at Nature's Classroom in Mukwonago. When I am not playing with the dogs at Spa Paw & Tail, I enjoy being with friends and family, reading, seeing live music, traveling and cooking.
Adam
My name is Adam. Having the opportunity to grow up with all sorts of pets has given me a broader perspective on diversity of animals, and how each one has its own unique personality. I have always given respect and love to my own and of others. This job has given me the chance to deepen that learning experience and enhance my knowledge of these animals.
Brian
Hello, My name is Brian. Here I am with my best buddy, Charlie. We've been together since he was a puppy.
I've been an animal lover all of my life and having the opportunity to work with dogs for many years, my love for them continues to grow.
Whenever I see parents playing with or taking a walk with their pets, there is an exchange there that is emotionally beneficial for them
and it makes me happy to see them sharing in the moment. So you can just imagine how great it makes me feel to be with all of the beautiful animals that come to Spa, Paw and Tail.
We always offer FREE Valet Service.
